This initiative stands as a beacon of hope for countless families across North India, reflecting SMH’s unwavering commitment to bridging healthcare gaps and ensuring accessibility for all.

Cleft Lip and Palate is a prevalent congenital condition that affects both physical health and emotional well-being. The high cost of surgical intervention often puts necessary treatment beyond the reach of many families. At SMH, in partnership with ABMSS, we strive to remove this financial barrier and offer comprehensive surgical and rehabilitative care free of charge. This initiative is one of the few of its kind in Delhi NCR and aims to make a significant impact on the lives of children affected by this condition.

Meet Our Expert

Dr. Ravi Kant Singh , a highly experienced Maxillofacial Surgeon, leads this department with remarkable expertise. With over 19 years of experience and more than 12,000 successful surgeries performed across India, Dr. Singh is at the forefront of cleft and facial deformity treatments. He also serves as the Project Director for ABMSS at both Shanti Mukand Hospital, Delhi, and Peace Point Hospital, Varanasi. His international credentials include serving as a Visiting Consultant at the University of Basel, Switzerland and contributing as a speaker at national and international conferences on cleft anomalies.

About ABMSS

Founded in 1993 in Bangalore, Akila Bharatha Mahila Seva Samaja (ABMSS) is a well-established charity focused on child and public welfare. Since 2013, ABMSS has actively supported free surgeries for Cleft Lip, Palate, and congenital facial deformities in collaboration with 40 hospitals across India. SMH has been a proud partner hospital in this mission since December 2023. The organization is governed by a board of directors, with Dr. Dushyant Prasad serving as the General Secretary and Executive Director of ABMSS.
Through this collaboration, SMH and ABMSS continue to bring transformative healthcare solutions to those in need, ensuring that no child is denied the chance to smile brightly and live confidently.
